Hope it's just a fluke. The other day my truck was dead. I parked by my buddies dock to help him prep his boat. I opened the passenger door an no dome light. Got in, no dome light. Turn the key an nothing, not a single light on the dash. Hit the power for a light bar that ran right off the battery an it was perfect. I open the hood to prep to hook up jumper cables....opened the door an the interior lights all came back an it started right up. The dash lights an display screen were blindingly bright.

There are so many systems an control modules on modern cars an trucks I think an occasional fluke is the new norm.
Did this ever pop up again? I just had the same thing. No lights, nothing. Steering wheel wasn't even locked. Popped the hood, checked fuses. Heard a click (not while touching anything), and then it was fine. Curious if it ever reoccured.

So, for those that have had good luck with your Rangers, there are some Weather Tech floor liners and a factory bed extender for sale in the classifieds..., mine is sold. Worst few months of vehicle ownership I have ever had .
