Got mine! For $20 it was a no-brainer. I had a cheap bluetooth module ($40 5 years ago,) that I hated using because if the phone got too far away from the scope the connection broke and defeated the purpose of being able to "put the phone anywhere." I always have a devil of a time figuring out where to put my phone where I can constantly look at it when I don't have a helper. My BT unit can't articulate either - This is gonna be great being able to hold the monitor like this.
When you change your spark plugs you can scope the bores and check for scoring / fouling. Look up a guide for how to hand-rotate the engine to do so. I do Euro classics restoration work as a hobby / method of self-torture and that is precisely what I got mine for, so I can scope cars I'm thinking of buying. It is pretty nifty, but what will I use it for?
Yes! and if you don't already have one I recommend the cheapest, least powerful unit on sale for a thing like this. Should cost $7-8. (Amazon link.)Oh, and you needs an SD card if you wanna take pics or film.
