Doesn't seem to be many options for 18" 10 ply tires. Looking for something a little more road friendly than the BFG'S.

10 ply's aren't really the way to go if you want "road friendly".

That being said, I have Cooper AT3 XLT 265/70/18 and I really like them. They do run a bit firmer over the bumps than the stock tires, but I was surprised at how quiet they are. I expected them noisier than stock, but that wasn't the case

Do not get 10 ply! Not at all needed on a little ranger or tacoma.
You would absolutely ruin your smooth ride.

Really people?! A 10 ply tire Will kill the ride? I have 285/70-17 Firestone Destination XT's and the ride is just fine.

If you are wanting to go a little bigger on tire size then 265/65-18 will fit with no lift or level. You also get a few more options in your range.

Lol the tires I habe now are 10 ply and did not destroy fuel mileage what so ever. Must be the type of tire(mud terrain for example) and/or your driving habbits.

Not really a full mud terrain. Half all terrain half mud. Ended up with a 6 ply mud terrain and averaging about 21mpg
Sorry to hear that, I can still average 24 to 26 MPG
