Yep, a 300 straight 6 with a manual transmission is so nice... I bought a brand new ā88 F150 with that setup for less than $9k. The ride of my new Ranger reminds me of that truck. Feels like a Ford to me. Thatās one of the reasons my Ranger is so special to me.
I think my Ranger has great ride quality. I do have the FX4 package so itās soft on minor bumps, which is by design. Personally, Iām fine with that. Our Tacoma, by comparison, is pretty harsh under all conditions. I really like the way the Ranger rides on the highway. Definitely different...

My guess is that it was because an awesome new truck was built by Ford (based on my experience over the last 6 months of ownership). Just a guess though.
Yep - My wife loves my Ranger because itās so smooth and quiet. She drives a 2018 Subaru Forester, which is a pretty nice ride, too. Iām really happy with my Ranger. Love driving it to work every day. Definitely one of the best automotive decisions Iāve made.
I push the button to disable the auto start and turn on the cruise control button every time I get in my Ranger. No big deal but I would like the truck to remember my preferred settings. First World problems.
