Ok, I'm alittle new to this but why spacers on your wheels? Plan on putting 265/70/17 bfg k02 on the truck after delivery.
I know this is probably biggest tire on stock truck. Will spacers allow me to increase tire size, height or width.
Or does this just have the wheel sit out farther.
Need alittle learning here.
Thanks Rob
They just bring the wheel out, to most it looks better than being tucked in and I agree. I have 1” spacers with 265/70R17 at stock height.

Would you have a pix of your wheel/tire setup. I think I can visualize what you saying. What spacers did you use?
I've seen a little narrower flare I would like to put on but if the wheels are tucked inside the wells too much, does not look right.
Thanks Rob

I don't have good photos of it yet but this is it it my garage - 1" BORA spacers, stock 17" Sport wheels, Cooper 265/70R17 M+S winter tires, RokBlokz XL flaps.

Love the stance ,
What is your tire size? Is that lifted or leveled?

Did you have to cut the crash bars for the 285-70-17?

What are your thoughts on towing with spacers? Plan on towing a 4500 lb trailer about half dozen times per year. Also did you need to trim wheels studs for the 1" spacers?
Thanks Rob

If you were towing or loading the truck pretty heavy daily I wouldn’t do it but with what you have planned I don’t see a problem - so long as you buy a good quality hubcentric spacer such as the BORA ones I’m using.

I didn’t trim the studs, I only had one just barely touch the inside of the lug nut due to a bur at the end of the threads, but that was easily fixed with a file.

I agree, not doing any heavy towing for any extended time and I think from my research I should be fine.
Thanks for your response

So I bought 285/70/17 and every shop I called to have them mounted won't touch them if there are spacers installed. I actually purchased a set of 1.5 6x139.7mm, but no one around here will install with new tires. They all say it's a liability and I should purchase new rims from them. :headbang::headbang:

Do you have another vehicle you can use to take them in separate from the truck and have them mounted and balanced? Then just install yourself after.

I went with the inch and a half TrailFX wheel spacers for the front. I went a little crazy with tires so I had to buy them. Good product.
