The horrible backup camera. I mean, if FCA can give you HD camera, where’s ford on this. I can see better out of my mag chloride, dirt covered camera in my Jeep, better than the squeaky clean one on the Ranger.

The only think I do not like about the Ranger is the door

arm rest/door handle

When I drive I manspread and the door handle gets me right in the knee.

Thinking about removing it and making the edge a little more rounded.

I am disappointed that it doesn't have a small tray in the top of center console like my Escape has, l am going to try to make one myself and put there

Here in the Nation's Capital, there is actually a Metro campaign to stop man spread on the train cars. Major problem during rush hour. Or, so they claim.

yeah, it's weird...these guys never try to pull that kind of thing when I'm in the next seat, only when it's a lady they think they can push around...

I think in general, I'd say that this truck is one of the best vehicles I've owned or experienced, as far as pros outweighing cons goes. The ratio of things I love and enjoy vs the pet peeves I have is very good. There are very few peeves I have, and a ton of things I love. I understand that this is a thread about pet peeves, but always good to remind ourselves how good this truck is overall when this thread starts to devolve a little too far.

While I have only had my truck for a few weeks, a few things come to mind:
1. Not being able to shut off completely the auto start/stop
2. Position of window controls
3. Having to make suspension adjustments to level my brand new truck
4. No stake holes in bed
5. Position of tie downs in bed. In my old ranger they were in the corners and they were pretty handy in those positions.
6. The covers over the tie downs in the drop in bed liner. The bedliner looks like it will get in the way, and become distorted if something large is tied down
7. The shape of the turn signal and windshield wipers. Would much prefer straight levers. I always reach for the position where they were in my old truck with straight levers.

My biggest peeves after three weeks is no hidden sync connected USB port...mushy brake pedal, no electric sliding rear window, and sometimes a bounce or two too many. The biggest is the autostop. You can fix that by installing one of these in your 110 plug in the back

This is a night light (led) from wally world...3.99 for a two pack. I didn't come up with this..I read about it here and it works like a charm!!

You also have a spare for the home....Actually it would be perfect if it was black. This is a low profile so it shouldn't be kicked...There probably better ones as far as appearance and possibly smaller (real perfection would let you close the plug in door) out there but I never sit back there. :)

Big thanks to the guy that showed us this....and no I cannot remember to "just" push the damn button....lol
