I think I’ve got to get a leveling kit. Does anybody think there’s a negative reason not to lift the front a bit?
I don’t think so. It’s rides the same, but maybe a bit less bounce now. Seems like it’s, for lack of a better word, level and in phase I guess you could say. I certainly like how it looks and it feels better too. Could just be me.

Hi Onlyone,

That you like it counts...It comes down to subjectiveness in absence hard data, and extraction of the information contained in the data at that.
Glad you like the way it feels...that is what it is all about , eh?

best,

Got my ELM327 today so I used FORScan for the first time. Was a little nerve wracking at first getting it set up but once I clicked the “OK” button after all of the warning messages and restarted the truck with no error messages or check engine lights, my speedometer and odometer now account for the bigger tires and are accurate again.

They do kind of make you fearful that using it is going to render your truck an inoperable brick. But it’s really pretty easy to use. Very “Windows 95” in its interface....which I find easy to use and comfortable.

Exactly, now that it's over I've been perusing the FORScan thread seeing if there's anything else I want to do because I felt like I was basically an electrical engineer when it all worked.

What size is it? I haven’t measured but I read that out tailpipe is 3” and all the ones I see at the parts store are like 2.85” inlet.
The ID of the exhaust outlet is 2.75 “

They're not missing, Ford just doesn't install 6 any more.

The one sitting beside it which came after had six? Five more did not though but not sure when they came in. I saw a vast mix when looking at different stores though I think most trcks had 6...

Put the truck on the lift finally. I like to go over new vehicles myself when I get them home but Christmas delayed me a week!

Checked the two connectors on the driver side frame which looked good. Overall, everything else was fine. A few push connectors (Christmas trees) weren’t all the way in, but that’s being petty. Really happy that Ford is painting the driveshafts and differentials. I remember the GT500 folks were whining because they were rusting up lol.

I was worried about the tires being too small on the 3" kit, but I think it looks good. I also considered going with a negative offset and really glad I didn't!! Next is some step bars and Raptor Style Grill.
