I was sad when I traded in my 2020 Ranger, but I’m loving the 2026 Ranger. Hope you enjoy your F-150 just as much as.
I knew it.....It's the damper! :sunglasses:

Might take a gander at an F-150 hybrid,
My very lazy, actually obeying the speed limits, drive home from work this morning, in the '25 Hybrid.

And I have the giant wind-catcher towing mirrors.

Lie-o-meter has me at 24.5 mpg this tank.

I still do miss the Ranger though as far as driving. The F150 is just big.

Here's a tidbit for you.....
My 2021 Ranger Scab was listed as 211 inches long....
My newly acquired 2019 Expedition is 210 inches long....
Both fit in my garage (Expedition is of course wider), but the Expy feels sooooo much bigger....3 row seating for full size people and room in back....
Put the 3rd row seat down and rear space is almost as big as the bed on a Ranger Crew.....
It really is all about needs.

My perfect truck is a Scab with rear seat delete. I have a CX-5 as the "get around grocery" hauling vehicle. Both have Knodel organizers. 3 in the back of the CX-5, and 2 in the back of the Scab. Both allow easy access, privacy if needed, and each 1/3 section holds 2 paper grocery bags. They fold flat when not needed, but we leave them up.

Works perfect for our lifestyle.

Glad you loved your time with the truck. I plan on keeping mine for a few more years if I can. Every time we tow, like this weekend, my wife reminds me how small it is.....I tell her it's because she keeps a 7-11 worth of snacks in the front area. We had an f150 loaner a few months when my engine got replaced and that is her benchmark now. Meanwhile I'm dreaming of no payments for a few years lol

Sometimes you just need something new my 2019 Ranger XLT has been fantastic but I also just let mine go. I traded mine for a 2022 2dr Bronco, I have been a Bronco fan for almost as long as I have loved pickups. But I got such a good deal I could not say no. You all have been great and will miss this site so I may still read it for the fellowship and advice. Because after all a Bronco is really a re-bodied Ranger.
Man, if we didn't tow, I would really like a 4dr bronco. Love my truck though

Anybody ever do the whole Ophir Pass road from Ophir to Silverton ? Helluva of a road , biggest issue is long stretches where there is no room to turn around, I did a good chunk of this road last fall starting on the Ophir side, Ranger is better suited for these types of roads although I don't off road much. What sparked my interest in moving to a full sized pickup or something better for towing than the Ranger is when my son got his 2023 Tundra a few weeks back I towed my 23' Nobo UVW 4200 lbs with it and it was so much better, ironically son has a 19' Rpod uvw 2700 lbs , which is nothing to tow. Potentially I could keep the Ranger and buy a full sized tow vehicle was looking at the Lexus 460 but ended up with a Subaru outback - wife's car. But don't put a lot of miles on the Ranger to begin so having 2 lightly used vehicles doesn't appeal much although where I live a good many neighbors have 3 or more vehicles with many Razor type vehicles.

I ordered my 2026 with the Integrated Bed Steps which are really nice for old men like me to get in the bed. And it was okay that I could drop the tailgate from the bed without it banging. But I still removed the silly thing.

I never thought I would step down from an F250. I had five! Our travel trailer is an '88 Prowler 18' @ 4100 GVWR. We do 2-3 camping trips a year anymore at roughly 140 miles round trip up the river. The rest of the time I haul mountain bikes or tow the ATV out to the woods. The Ranger is way cheaper to operate than a 7K lb diesel. Even running 91 octane. Needs change. Who's to say I won't need an F150 in the future?? Not likely as I really like my Ranger and I don't see myself doing anything in retirement that warrants a bigger truck. My days of moving people and such are over and now I have a better excuse!! 😂

When i decided to get rid of my F250 after owning Super Duty's for 18 years, it seemed silly to get rid of the F250 just to move to an F150, and for the most part, I figured the Ranger would suit my needs just fine. And maybe the fond memories of my long gone 1984 Ranger made me want to get back into another Ranger. The 19 Ranger for the most part has served me well, but when I went out and bought a super clean 2001 F250 in 2021 because I had the occasional need for a bigger truck, that probably ended up being the catalyst for this move. I did sell the F250 a couple years later because it sat a lot, and having 2 trucks seemed a little silly. So I guess, in a way, I've just needed a full size truck all along.

Someone will be getting one sweet, well cared for Ranger, though, because I maintained it like I was going to own it forever. I am REALLY going to miss that MBS transmission dipstick - I hope Mike is able to get one designed for the 5.0 F150 soon.
