Can you create an AI image of the Canadians winning the Stanley Cup? It's been 33 years since their last one and I don't know I'll live long enough to see them win another. lol 😂

Bonus points if you have them beating the Stars. 🤣
As long as it’s not San Jose winning anything, I can accept this… Growing up playing hockey, the Jr. Sharks were always our biggest rival. Beat them twice and won the state championship! Ironically ended up playing on one of their tourney teams when I was 16 or 17 and went to Canada to get our asses handed to us. Twice lol good times!

Junior Hockey here in Canada is a bit of a religion cult, with several different levels of Junior Hockey - Major Junior is the top tier. There are quite a few American and European players who are drafted to play on some of the Major Junior teams. More than a dozen U.S.-based teams play in the junior leagues here. Flint Firebirds, Saginaw Spirit, and the Eerie Otters to name a few. The system is ultra-competitive and produces top talent.

It’s like Friday Nights Lights but with toques and cups of Tim Horton’s coffee.

I grew up playing too from about 6 yrs old through high school. One team I despise the most are the Bruins and yes, I'm from MA and can't stand them. It was a challenge growing up there and being a Montreal fan since they were always long time rivals but one I accepted. 😁

I was lucky enough to have gone to Montreal several times as our town team would play them every year. One year they'd come down then the next we'd go there which was really cool. I became friends with one and they invited my whole family up so we went in the spring of '77 right after the Olympics and while I got to see the original Forum the Canadians weren't playing (I can't remember if they were out of the playoff or just away) when we were there.Duke is right hockey is a cult there and it's bread into you from birth. I think when you're Baptized they give you your first hockey stick. lol

Good OT win!

But I feel bad for the customer who orders an air cleaner from you and gets a cabin filter instead.

Surprised to see so many hockey fans here! Being born in Nebraska and growing up in California, I always got the “wtf are you doing playing hockey?!” or “where is there even ice in CA??” reaction from people lol I owe that to my stepdad. He moved here from Toronto when I was 5 and that’s when him and my mom got together. He had me on the ice as soon as he could buy me skates!

I fell in love with the game immediately! Played from the age of 5 until I was 18 when I aged out. We didn’t have a junior team here at the time so my options were get a job and start working full time or move somewhere and hopefully get picked to play college or juniors. That’s right around the time I shattered my foot so unfortunately, that decision was made for me… Haven’t played in years but man do I miss it! Sometimes I wish I could go back and do it all over again! Greatest game on earth!!!

I can relate. I got into hockey while stationed at Ft. Hood (or whatever it's called now  ) as a friend of mine was a big Stars fan and she explained the in's and out's of the game, so naturally I started following them....in 2000, right AFTER they won the cup. So I am still waiting lol to see them win it again. I grew up in Hawaii, no hockey there (that I remember anyway) but there was an ice rink, The Ice Palace if my memory serves me. Still, I never played, and the few times I tried ice skating...yea, I'll just stick to surfing lol.
