BMS in forscan?

Can some one tell me where to find it in forscan so I can change the % of charge
found it.

I set my SOC to 95% now that I found it I had Originally set mine at 85% a but a year ago and battery health was very good for a battery going on 5 years old..

I just replaced my H6 OE battery today to a Costco Interstate H7 and don't think I have found success in resetting the BCM.

I tried via Forscan, but it keeps failing. Here's a video of Forscan + the dash lights:

I also tried manually (flash brights 5 times then press brake pedal 3 times) resetting it a few times to no apparent effect:

I cannot find where to check the age of the battery in Forscan either to see if either of these procedures actually did work.

Anyone have any thoughts here?

I was able to figure out how to create a dashboard and battery age shows as 0 so I think I am sorted. Cheers

I’m not positive but I think it’s in the ACM..

While you were in there did you change the battery type and increase the SOC? Both are in the BCM

Yep. AGM 80Ah H7 and SOC to 90%

Side note when you change the battery size the time since install will reset to 0 on its own

I've been having a notice lately when I get in the truck system off to save battery. Took the dog to the vet today about a 10 mile drive, 30 minutes at vet came out and got warning, Dealer put a new battery in last year seems to still be fine even with this warning remote start works fine. Anyway I talked to the dealer they said they never did a reset when they changed the battery that I should try that first. Okay I come home grabbed the laptop went out to truck as others stated the battery reset fails through forescan. I made multiple attempts it would not reset. Come in eat lunch watch a video go back out try the 5 clicks of the bright 3 times on the pedal and a few seconds later the battery light flashed 4 times indicating it reset. Just wondering if anybody has had this happen and why forscan wouldn't work? Any thoughts?

It most likely actually worked (Success) its about the limitation of Forscan (Internal Timing) of the response - the BMS reset procedure is not just a quick reset, the BCM is processing the request and Forscan is looking for a faster response - it times out before the (Success) reply is sent.
Whatever is going on behind the scenes that is delaying the reply, it still works as you can view the new battery installed date.

Where in forscan can you disable BMS? So in doing that SOC will not matter anymore?
as of now my volt meter sits at 14.6 to 14.7 all the time wile driving.
