I just replaced my H6 OE battery today to a Costco Interstate H7 and don't think I have found success in resetting the BCM.
I tried via Forscan, but it keeps failing. Here's a video of Forscan + the dash lights:

What handle is that on the inside of your GFC rear panel? Just installed via an adhesive? This would be quite helpful for our GFC too. Thank you.

I have used something similar to this as well. Perfectly fits 2x 5gal Scepter water jugs. I just secured them to the tie down points with a boat strap. That said, I have changed my bed setup and now just have a toolbox secured in that area.

Lake Pueblo State Park in Pueblo, CO stays open basically year round for mountain biking.
I could probably convince myself to drive down that way as long as it's not forecasted to rain/snow there if that helps your drive up to Colorado.
