Thought this was funny enough to share… A while back, our dogs ate the parking brake cover in my ranger. My fault for thinking I could leave them alone for a whole 2 minutes! Lol It’s been torn up for almost a year and it finally bothered me enough to order a replacement online.
Fast forward a week, fedex driver shows up and drops the package over the fence where we keep the dogs. (We have a sign on the front gate of our property that says LEAVE PACKAGES IN CARPORT.) The wife called and said in the 2 minutes it took her to walk outside, there was nothing left but shreds of packaging paper…
Sure enough, I noticed little strips of black leather while picking up dog crap a few days later. I was pretty pissed at fedex but they reimbursed the $75, so I guess all is well. My dogs enjoyed a chew toy for 2 minutes, fedex admitted their driver is an idiot, and I got my money back. Although something tells me that my truck will never have a parking brake cover as long as these dogs are around!
