Someone/something banged my truck...

So I get a ding on my phone from State Farm that my "revised estimate" is ready to view ... wtf ??? So I view it and it has went from $1200 and some change to now $1700 and some change !!! My deductible is the same so no biggie but im curious so I call the body shop and asked wtf ??? They broke the bed rail cap AND the wheel opening molding taking them off... I left my truck with cavemen i guess...

Unfortunately not all trim pieces are created equal.

Wait! They can be removed without breaking them if the shop employee bothered to learn/understand how. They’re in the business of doing this kind of thing every single day. How is this not on them?

Carfax doesn't really matter i guess since it will never be sold or traded... nobody else ever gets to own it ...

Today is the day !!! Ranger is ready ! No more climbing gear just to enter and exit ! No more sore butt cheeks from tensing up in a drive thru ! Actually though, I have to brag on the Ram a little , me and wifey had to take a little road trip (about 2 hours of interstate) and i gotta give the big girl props , she can roll down the road ! Very nice ride and truck feels solid in every way , runs fantastic and SHIFTS AMAZINGLY(talking to YOU my 10R80, DO BETTER !) I'd liove to try one in a short cab because even a SuperCab would still be too much for my taste now as the Ranger has spoiled me...

Hopefully everything was done right and it'll be trouble free from here on out. I do love the ride of a larger truck, my F150's all rode nice especially on the highway towing a trailer. But a few tweeks to the suspension and the Ranger is a very close second especially with today's technology. Like you I could never go back to such a large truck as the Ranger is the perfect size for just about anything I need now. Parking is a breeze and the most important thing is that it fits in my garage!
