I can see the bed rail moulding being a problem. They're held on with clips and the plastic rails are prone to breaking but I'm sure they weren't all that careful and just "yanked" them off. The wheel moulding (from what I've seen here) look fairly easy to get off so yeah, that wold concern me about the rest of the job.So I get a ding on my phone from State Farm that my "revised estimate" is ready to view ... wtf ??? So I view it and it has went from $1200 and some change to now $1700 and some change !!! My deductible is the same so no biggie but im curiousso I call the body shop and asked wtf ??? They broke the bed rail cap AND the wheel opening molding taking them off... I left my truck with cavemen i guess...
The problem with modern tech. Undamaged plastic pieces that have to be removed to repair or replaced damaged sections are liable to break during removal at owners expense. So I get a ding on my phone from State Farm that my "revised estimate" is ready to view ... wtf ??? In this case insurance. All part of the game.
