Visited Steens Mountain & Alvord Desert in SE Oregon last week. I've been wanting to see the wild horses in the area called Kiger Mustangs & mission was accomplished:

Saw couple of herds there.

Alvord Desert was a bust, as the dry lake bed was wet & I believe it's frowned upon or against rules to drive vehicles on it unless dry(I stayed on the outer edge off the trail).

Looking up at Steens Mountain from Alvord(horses are on Steens). My headlight(aftermarket LED bulb) started cutting out on the drive back, which was a bummer.

Led a trip in Anza Borrego last weekend, a few days after the rainstorms we had. The Defender is our neighbor, and it was their first time ever going off-road. His wife wasn't sure she wanted to go, but now they are both hooked and asking when the next trip is.

Going down one of the five paths for Diablo Drop Off. I was happy with the rear articulation provided by the Global multi-leaf springs and Eibach 2.0 remote-reservoir shocks. I'm seriously considering the AirLynx sway bar end links to increase front travel.
