What replacement interval have folks settled on? I replaced mine ~15,000 miles ago, but would rather get ahead of it than wait for performance to drop. Curious how others are approaching this

I have 4 in my maintenance stock. Got them at $18 each from RockAuto, and a member who sold his Ranger. Cheap insurance. The way Ford doubles and triples prices on common parts it is best to get them when prices are low.

Remember the engine cover at $45, then $75, then $100, and presently ~$150! Ford gauges demand and raises prices accordingly... I find it immoral and abusive, but what do I know.

I don't change them at regular intervals, only when they fail. You'll know! A 10 minute job now that I have hose clamps at the module.

My first original last 15K miles. I'm at 26K now and it still runs fine.

Before I traded the Ranger I'd settled on 30K changes. Pretty sure I was on #3 when it went to the dealer at 65K.

Got mine ordered! I’m at 13,000 miles on my 2023, so I figured it would be good to have one on hand.

Ford part number is KA1Z5L200A and all Rangers from 2019 to 2023 use this part number, so you should be good to go

I don't have any of the issues that are caused by a bad one. Mine shifts and drives fine..no bucking or hesistations.
I drove through two major world class monsoon rain storms in South Carolina. The truck swallowed enough water via the intake to almost stall at a stop sign when taking off. It did this twice, water ended up in the intercooler, then went down the intake when I started up again. It almost died in the middle of the intersection both times.

When I got home I researched the issue and found it to be a known problem with all ecoboost engines. A fellow in the pan handle of Florida with an F150 traded his in when it happened to him while in a rain storm pulling his 22 foot 4-horse horse trailer. He said he can't afford to have this happen. The pan handle of Florida sees a LOT of heavy rain storms.

I suspect this is what killed my first DPFE sensor.
