Not to hijack but does paintless dent repair work on the aluminum tailgate? My atv trailer came unhooked heading up to elk hunt a week ago and the atv kissed the tailgate leaving two small dents. Not very deep and no bigger than a penny. Pissed at myself when I saw them the next day in the light at elk camp is an understatement! Sick actually.
Did you have a chance to take out your anger on an elk ? For the 1st time in many many yrs I did not go elk hunting as exceptionally heavy rains turned the dirt roads into sloppy messes and made the pass and dirt road switchbacks where I would be towing my trailer too treacherous, most of our hunting party rents a cabin and the lightweights coming from Phoenix decided they didn't want to deal with the road conditions. But most of us are in our mid 70s and are slowing down.

I went a few days. We got a foot of snow the 3rd night and of course laid all the brush over the trails and made walking rough for me. I'm still recovering from Guillain-Barre Syndrome from the first of the year. I'm good but get fatigued sooner than I would like. All I saw was moose!😂 If it hadn't been for the snow I could have done more but tough accessing where I could get to based on my ability this year. Hopefully next year I will feel more energized. Went to PT this morning for some back issues and found this time around it's actually my hip mobility likely causing the back issues. Getting that sorted out should hopefully let everything else feel better. Long reply for yes, I hunted some!😂 Deer season until Dec. 1 so I have that.

GBS is a tough diagnosis to hear Mel. I know a couple of guys. I hope it’s manageable for you. With your sports medicine background, I’m sure you have a plan. All the best with that plan!

Actually I was pretty lucky even though GBS is just bad luck. I had ataxia instead of the full paralysis. Lack of coordination, fatigue and weakness from the nerves not doing their job. I went to the hospital on January 13 and back to work March 17. Three and a half weeks IVIG (five treatments the first week) and rehab. I missed nine weeks of school but back for the last quarter and a couple weeks just in time to retire!😁 That was already planned. I'm back to doing everything even mountain biking but the effects I still have are just annoying. I'm close to being 100% but I don't expect to fully be there until first part of the new year anyway. We have a friend who came down with it in June and she still isn't standing or walking yet. She was full paralysis and Intubated. Scary stuff. My plan is to keep working out,do whatever I want as well as I can and grumble when it gets frustrating!😂

On my drive to Charlotte I always stop at sheetz in Summersville, WV. That place is a freakin squatted truck convention every time I go. Either that or lifted two feet in the air with rainbow LEDs. Never see it anywhere else really, reminded me of the subculture of people who did freakish mods like that in AZ. Saw this one there last night on my drive down here.

That sounds like a great plan Mel. GBS and other post-viral chronic conditions are, as you said, “scary stuff”. My thoughts are with you and your friend. Best.

That is NOT A SUPERCAB SIR!!! And the way Tracy parked its no wonder Mr.Green bumped it..
I gave up trying to get AI to generate a 5g SuperCab long ago. It was hit and miss, mostly miss. :( @Tracy Bowman might argue if that’s the way AI says trucks should be parked, she’s been doing it right all along.
