Which trail is that? Have you tried Dishpan Springs near Lake Arrowhead?

Its Holcomb Creek Trail. I haven't had a chance to check that one out yet!

I’ll let someone correct me if needed but when they installed the first prototype on my truck, they only drilled one hole, the other five bolts used existing holes.

That's correct, only one hole needs to be drilled.

That's really the only way to have the most secure mounting point. Anything that just clamps on isn't going to provide as solid of a connection.
