When I did mine I have heard about the hungry frame hole. A little strategically placed duct tape stopped it's appetite. ?
Yeah. I knew better but was in a hurry and that more often than not makes the job take longer

Amazon . Muslogy being the highest priced one ,I went with that .It has a good reputation among members on this site and others. I think it was $23 and I used some Discover points to get it for less than $20. I can store small items on top in the new tray and leave the botton of the console open for larger items

I have a transmission pan I need to install.

Which one is the hungry frame bolt hole?
The ones on top of the angle braces near the rear end of the transmission. The rear corner bolts are close to being above the holes. I just temporarily wrapped some duck tape over them to prevent fumble lingered bolts from finding them.

new hard tonneau cover. really like the fit and finish and it's low profile look.

Nice! Which brand/model did you end up going with? I’ll probably be doing a retractable tonneau in the next year or so.

syntica USA. it's the pro manual retractable. It has t slots and works perfectly with there adjustable height ladder rack. will post pictures when it's complete. they sent me a long bed version vs short bed.

I have that same bedcover. It's a very sturdy cover and has held up well in the 3 years I've had it.

The T-slots are great for mounting all your stuff.

I got a set of adjustable height T-slot cross bars and a pack of T-slot nuts on Amz.

The bars were for a full size so I had to cut them down a bit, but now are the perfect width.

They easily support my RTT.

Everything is very sturdy.

My LED marker Amazon lights pretty much burned out after all this time. So I just bought Amazon bulbs and stuck the original ones back in

What
A piece of Chinese rubber and Diode Dynamics light brackets. They're thicker than my current brackets so I hope that cuts down on the vibration. All I gotta do now is cut & weld until they look right.

What was your objective for modifying the brackets? Curious because I run those same brackets for my A pillar lights.

The perches are too high,,, too far forward,,, and too far out.

I want my lights tucked in tighter to the A-pillars. I don't want them hanging so far off the side of the truck. I don't want them hovering above 1² inch of hood sheet metal. And I don't want them sticking up so high in the air.

My current brackets were perfectly positioned. But the metal just wasn't thick enough and the lights vibrate too much.
