Does anyone know if the Ford Performance Tune device is able to be used on more than one truck? If it is, does anyone have an extra one that I can have for my truck? My wife and I are about to have to live in a travel trailer and the tune would really help me pull the trailer and I CANNOT AFFORD $1000 for the device.

But I was thinking/hoping that someone had the device and didn't need it anymore, whether they used it and now it just sits in a drawer, or their truck got totaled and they don't need the device anymore, or something like that.

I would really appreciate it! It would really help us out.

If you're still under warranty,,, the Ford tune is a decent way to go. But,,, the Ford tuner is married to the vehicle it was originally sold to and cannot be reused on another. Its gonna be $1k to go with Ford.

If factory warranty is not an issue,,, check out the Revolution Automotive tune. Far less expensive and much better performance in every aspect. Probably closer to $600 +/-.

I bought the truck used from a Ford dealership, but I did purchase an extended warranty. I also want to keep my truck as reliable as possible.

They are locked to the truck and VIN. Why are you trying to make your truck only use the expensive gas if you're broke?
Higher octane gasolines are more fuel efficient so they're actually cheaper in the long run. They also burn cleaner so they keep the oil and engine cleaner which also saves you money. I used to use the cheap gas and then I learned that. I switched to the expensive gas and used half the amount of gas as I did with the cheap gas. Ever since then, I have always used 93 octane gas and it has saved me sooooo much money.

The only "Revolution Automotive" I can find is a car shop in Georgia.

Adam isn't the easiest person to reach. Don't bother trying to call the shop. I usually get ahold of him thru loweredon33s. He works at Revolution Automotive. I send him a message thru this site and Adam usually calls or emails a few days later.

Or,,, you could email Adam Browne at...

[email protected]

You won't be disappointed.

Thank you. I don't use Facebook, though. After doing some research, I found some places I can buy the Ford tuner for $600 so I'm just gonna save up for that. Trying to get one from him is too much work so I'm not gonna bother with it. It'll probably be about the same smorof money, anyways.
