I called dealership and asked for quote on just a fluid change. Why are they telling me I need 13qts of fluid?? Is that because they assume I’m wanting to do a flush?

Just changed my tranny fluid with Amsoil ATF, and OEM filter at 38K miles, 5 years. Fluid was dark as well as the filter. Very little metal on the magnets. I installed a Fitzstick last month and so glad I did. It made adding fluid and checking level so easy. I cannot imagine not having the magic stick.
