a friend printed a mount for my Icom face plate. Sticky tape is holding it to the roof, for now, but I can add a couple bolts/washers/nuts if needed.
I don’t know too much about these onboard radio equipment’s… what’s the reach on one of these? Like 5-10miles uninterrupted with terrain or obstructions?

Maybe a stupid question but would I need a sort of permit (like m in California so I’d assume I have some sort of hoops to jump through.)?

Did an oil change, checked the rest of the fluids. Looks like the weep from my transfer case front shaft seal that my car developed after it sat for 5 months, whilst I was laid up with my knee last year has taken up with daily use again. Yah - I wasn't looking forward to replacing it.

it’s a HAM radio, so… you need an amateur radio license. It’s a 30 something question test.
Range is not an easy thing to narrow down. I’ve gotten 50 miles before. It’s running at 50 watts during broadcast and the antenna plays a big part. I use it for trails, but I also listen to our local air traffic control tower.

installed the bluetti charger 1. for camping it will be helpful to charge my ecoflow batteries for off grid camping at a rapid pace. adjustable 12v-56v at 10 amps for a max input of 560watts. I have 200 watts of solar but the last camping trip taught me mother nature can be cruel and I need a backup plan. Power misc stuff but mostly my 12 volt fridge and 12 volt diesel heater. During fall and winter trips this will be crucial. And with it being universal I hope it lasts me a long while.

TBH, my first thought when I saw this what that I'd time-traveled back to the late-'90's and you'd just installed a new AM/FM radio with a removable face-plate so that some punk didn't steal it out of your car while you were at the mall.

what does this do over a stock leaf?
It is from what i understand, like a helper leaf. But in the form of a spring, that acts like a stabilizer bar for the rear end. Lessening sway and roll. Hence a more stable ride, and less squat for a more level tow or cargo heavy load.

I’m having a CRS (can’t remember ?) moment…what is the user name of our resident Ford parts guy. I want to order the SC back seat delete parts and clean up my “back seat” area.

pulled these parts numbers from a previous post.
