Hi all,
Wondering if you have any ideas on what might be going on here.
2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 supercab. No mods.
Radio will not power on. The dash display just reads 'Audio Off'. Can't turn it on using the dial or touchscreen. All other functions/buttons seem to work.
And in the Nav screen the red arrow just floats across the screen randomly, map doesn't show correct location, and there is a ? through 'GPS'.
I did reset the system by pressing the power button and skip right.
I also unplugged the batter terminal for about 20 minutes.

Any ideas? Thanks!!

Can you scan for any DTC codes?
Check for an open fuse 33 in the BCM (fuse box under dash).

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I don't have a scan tool. Guess I could get one and check.

Forscan is a free Windows program that you can download to scan for codes. It requires a OBD adaptor to connect to the truck OBD port. How is fuse 33?

What version of Sync do you have. Version 3.4.23188 is the latest and most stable.

Fuse looks good.
My Sync version just says 3.3. It's scanning for an update now.

I'm going to replace the fuse anyway and see what happens.

I would do the update using USB. there are directions online how to load to your computer than a USB. Just did mine last week and the only thing that didn't happen was the update file for Ford.

Pull and Check - BCM Fuses 5 & 28 if good, Pull and Reseat (ALL) connectors on the (DSP) Amp.
I think the Amp fuses are blown or its not powering up.
Fuses 5 & 28 feed the Amp, others have reported the same issue with the Amp and it may be fried internally and if scanned for codes it will give specific codes for the Amp circuits.
