I grew up in Western MA and always loved NH. We spent many, many summers at Hampton Beach and up at Weirs Beach for bike week in June. I always wanted to retire there but as time went on to many people from Eastern MA migrated there and ruined the area. You know the rest of the story! As much as I love(d) NH when I was a resident, it's car-related stuff could get weird.
I'm guessing it's probably gotten weirder (the kindest word I can think of) since the southern half of the state (where my family and I hailed from since before the Civil War) has been inundated by unhelpful Bay Staters..... An inundation so severe it caused the Old Man of the Mountain to give up the ghost 20 years ago.
