All we need is a Ranger version. At least the Pinto's had seat belts....
I grew up in cars and trucks where seat belts were far off dreams, and an air bag was your mother-in-law in the back seat.....

We used to own a Pinto in our younger daze.I drove my moms ford maverick (not the truck) for years during highschool and college. I aint sceert. I should have been dead a dozen times already.
My insurance is the exactly the same on my '19 as it was on my '07, and I just had personal liability on my '07, full coverage on my '19. I had my agent explain it.So this must be why the insurance on my Ranger is much higher priced then my wife's Forester.
My '19 was like that. It never handled good until I changed out that awful Fx4 suspension to Eibach all around. Then it felt 100% better and more stable (even small bumps) and didn't seem to wallow all over. Luckily my '23 has the Tremor package with the Fox and doesn't seem to do this. It's way more stable and even a little stiff at times but I'd rather that then that marshmallow Fx4 package. The ‘22 I have is the strangest handling vehicle I have owned.
Soft at times but suspension seems firm with a lot of body roll.
I drove a 5.0 F-150, 2.7L F-150, and 3.5 and the smaller engine, lighter versions also seem to have some of this (slight) unpredictability.
Maybe it’s the weight distribution, shock setup, or suspension travel, but something about this combo just feels off. The 5.0 F-150 had none of this, even with FX4 off road package.
Funny thing is I never wanted the FX4 package but the dealer sold the Ranger I had a deposit on because the buyer probably paid over the msrp and I wouldn't so they swapped in the FX4 from another dealership they own.My '19 was like that. WELP, I'm SCREWed, Literally and Figuratively. I have a Blue SuperCrew, Though in the Report it looks like they were reviewing FX2's so maybe I am safe. Mine is a SPORT 4X4.? They must of based their rankings from those blue ones??
That's funny because my wife has a Forester too....Wait a minute....So this must be why the insurance on my Ranger is much higher priced then my wife's Forester.
