I'm Souther than you...

Coworker in MI posted some pics so the wife and I jumped in the Ranger and went to the lake.

Another coworker in TN caught some reddish sky too.
Saw a shooting star right into the aurora too. Beautiful night.

Those look great and I think the correct term is “more Souther-er”.

I have to ask, what the hell you guys growing up there that I can see the lights all the way across lake?
Met up with a friend today that has a place on the lake and we compared pictures.
I noticed she had a bright spot on the horizon on a lot of the pics, and I had a few shots with the same.

In the shot above, it's on the left. She said it was from the greenhouses in Canada. I've noticed it before just not as bright.

As a following up for a post we did weeks ago, we are still looking at a camp to purchase. We looked at this one again and investigate the practicality of putting XC or hiking trails on it. We do hope to get a bid in on this one. Where's this security?
