Update:
Bucking problem resolved.

So, you all know my frustrating experience.

Recap:
The dealer had my truck for a few weeks. They drove it, and diagnosed it. They determined that it was a bad torque converter. 57,000 miles.

I told the service advisor that my "guys" all agreed it was the EGR sensor. I was told it couldn't be that... It was the torque converter.

They changed that with many other parts. In total, they had my truck for 3 weeks

Picked it up and went on my way.

Absolutely no difference with the bucking - exactly the same as before the repair.

Update:
So I took it back. They had it for another week as they brought in a "driveability guy".

Got it back today, finally fixed.

It was the EGR sensor. $10.49 part when Googled.
Solved my issue also, but that part is $50+ now. That was just the sensor. Whole module with hoses is $95+. Problem is fixed and still cheaper than Ford doing it, so I am a happy camper. Thanks for sharing with us.

For everybody having bucking issues at steady speeds and sluggish/hesitant takeoffs, start with the EGR SENSOR. It Solved all of my issues for $58. Hardest part was getting to the clamps on the bottom of the hoses.

If you've read the thread, lots of people (myself included) have had the DPFE sensor changed which fixes the issue. It is a relatively cheap part that is relatively easy to replace.
On a 2019 Ranger with jerking at low speeds: First I had the TSB done which did nothing to fix the problem. Two days ago I bit the bullet and had the DPFE changed and that seems to have fixed the problem . The technician wrote that there was moisture in the part.

Ford quoted me $499 to change the DPFE module. I bought the ford part for $90 and had installed for $30. Fixed the problem!!

No had it done by mechanic. 10 yrs ago I could have done it myself. I took it to the shop and showed the mechanic that I wanted him to replace this module with the one I have in hand. So he knew, I knew, where it was and I had the module. Lol

$30 install is cheap...I'd paid someone that to have it done...for a seniors, it's a bit of PIA to reach where it's located...

Exact issue mine had. Still under warranty, dealer fixed it after three tries! Rebuilt tranny then some valve body then finally found the issue(DPFE).
