Replacing rear bumper on 21 lariat ??

Wife got rear-ended in August. Only the bumper was damaged. Hardly noticeable, but wife is feeling a little guilty and is Insisting that i get a new one. Lucky me. Wanting to replace with a different one. Perhaps with the side steps. Has anyone replaced original bumper on a Lariat 4x4? What did you get? How much was involved? Appreciate any information.

The structure underneath may not be damaged. The painted panel can be removed and replaced.

It's hard to tell but the plastic part has popped out of bottom on both sides and the bumper is tilted upward.

There was a rear bumper somewhere on this forum with the side steps. Looked good too, if wife gave me permission id get something like that. Though id miss having a blue matching bumper. Youd have tobdo a search for the bumper

Yeah, I've looked at several with the side steps but have the 7 pin plug in the bumper like original. I don't want to hang it under the bumper.

AFN Ford Ranger Rear Bumper ( $1,259.40 INCLUDING SHIPPING) . Adds a TON of clearance. It is very stout. (I got mine with the Jerry can and swingout tire carrier.) No cutouts for the trailer plug though. I added my own. Also -no specs I can find about the towing capacity. I tow an Alumline Overlanding trailer which fully loaded is under 3000 pounds no problem.
