I bought a used 2019 Ranger and noticed there is something off with the window trim. I can't tell if it is missing the actual trim or if it is just badly fading. I want to fix current look. Thanks.

Looks like its just faded to me. Badly faded, but faded. Don't see anything missing.

BTW, that black trim between the front and rear doors is only some sort of vinyl. It peals off pretty easily. Underneath will be the truck color/paint. I pealed it off of my truck only a few months after getting it. IMHO having the body color looks better than that black vinyl.

BTW, no doubt Dave @AzScorpion is hawking some sort of snake oil that will refresh that trim. Probably throw in a damper if:giggle: you ask.

Some people have treated it with different products. One guy even repainted it.

I'm thinking someone did treat it with something that made it fade that bad. I don't think sitting in the sun everyday would make it fade that bad & that even. ?

Mine was identical. Found somewhere on here that someone mentioned the Mr.clean magic erasers. I went through about 4 (hard scrubbing) but it took whatever the hell it was off and continues to look good.

This. I took a magic eraser to mine just the other day. All I had to put on it was tire shine, but they look a whole lot better. They weren't that bad though

Not as slick as a nana finish, but it does have a slick finish.
I guess why I ask is, I used the wrong stuff on my running bars and it was slick and you had to be careful stepping on them.

Yup, I have done that also... but on the trim I do not think that would be an issue.

True, but it would be nice to have one product for both.
