My 2020 Ranger XLT reached 59.4K today and I purchased the Ford CSP Ultimate plan at $55 bucks a month with a $250 deductable, for 3 years. I'm thinking I did good but what do you think?

I just got my ford CSP ultimate also on my 2019 lariat for 3 yrs for 44.99/month. I figured it’s worth it with the tranny issues etc. one trip to the dealer for any kind of repair for anything and it will easily more than pay for itself.

Not a bad price for getting while you're up there in years and miles. It's definitely worth it for the peace of mind if you're going to keep it for any length of time. Especially with the ongoing transmission issues and the blend door issues on the 2019 - mid 2020's.

One thing for others to consider is it's considerably cheaper the earlier on you get an extended warranty. I bought mine through Flood Ford here last December (it was only 7 months old and 8,500 miles) and got the 10/100K with the LED lights with a $200 deductible for $1,905.00. You can use your FordPass points too and cancel it and get the pro rated amount back if you sell it or total it. Ask me how I know.

10-4. I bought mine when I picked up the truck brand new. Allstate Premium(Premier?) 10yr/150k mi bumper-to-bumper $100 deductible for ~$2600. I hope I never have to use it but as we travel in the Ranger a lot, it's good for peace of mind. I have bought full coverage extended warranties on all my vehicles since my '99 Chrysler LHS- triple black cruise missile. Tranny failed outside of Sioux Falls 250 mi from home. Some sort of valve assembly failed. 4hr repair while-u-wait. As I recall, the actual bill was around $1,000, but only had to pay the deductible. At trade-in time, you can get a pro-rated refund on the unused portion.

I paid 1600 from Flood for premium 8/100 led, key ESP 250 deduct when I was at 33k miles 2 years ago. I initially leased the truck so I was not concerned about being out of warrantee but at 57k very glad I purchased it when I bought and paid off the truck.

I'm going to have my truck at least another year, that's when I'll have it paid off.
I don't keep vehicles much past the time I pay them off as I hold no attachment to them. That said, what's the best way to go about adding the warranty?
I was thinking another 30 to 50,000 than should more than cover me.
Are these dealers pricing all the same say granger or flood? Or will they compete with pricing?

read the paperwork. It is huge bill, payable at $55 a month. For me, it read like a finance plan. When I called they told me what the contract said was not right. They just lied about everything. Yes, it is a ford warranty. You just paid a lot for it. read the paperwork. I canceled immediately.

Here's a link to Flood Ford where you can input your info. From there you can pick the term that you like and the deductible. I also added the LED light coverage. Most dealers charge WAY more because they mark them up where Flood and Granger are only charging $50 over their cost.

Plugged my info in to the flood page.
Says I'm not eligible for a "new" vehicle warranty ?

Went through the entire page and can't find anywhere to buy a warranty.

My offer came through my email that I used to create my account at Ford when I bought my truck.

Might just give them a call, is there a particular contact through flood, like granger?
