Doesn’t everyone have the camera for the automatic emergency braking? I thought it was standard. I have it on my XL. Or are we talking about something else?
Yes, ALL Rangers have the camera for Collision Avoidance and Auto Emergency Braking.

If I replaced my windshield everytime I took a hit from rocks here in Northeast Montana, I would be broke. I just tolerate the cracks and small craters. The plus is, law enforcement around here don't care and don't act like the gestapo in other states about a little crack.

That is why I have $0 deductible glass on my vehicles! Well worth the cost in the long run

Here in La., the only time there is a problem with state inspection is if the crack obstructs you line of vision. An extra $20 ensures it doesn't.

It 's hard for the LEO to write you a ticket when his is the same or worse?

I don't like government intrusion into my life much either but that is sad. I try to not sell my ethics.
Would you have work done on your vehicle at that shop?

Not at all. That place is just a tire and glass shop and prices are too high.

Resurrecting an old thread.

Got my 4th window star today and asking you repair peeps if this one can be fixed. It's about size of a half dollar but luckily just out of eyesight as it is at the bottom of the black box on the windshield.

One picture from the outside and one from the inside.

If it is bigger than a small cheap then replace the windshield. A pain, but that is why I have $0 deductible Windshield coverage

Eli @Cabose-1 used this Permatex repair kit and another kit in this post here and it seemed to work well for him.

That one is going to be tough, with it being all the way through and it looks like a lot of separation between layers. I'm thinking replacement.
