Does the deal or customer number correspond to the VIN?

The deal and customer number is an internal dealership thing. The Visibility system goes by a dealer and order number. The dealer number is a 5 digit number following the letter F. The order number could be any combination of 4 letters and numbers the dealership assigns.

The VIN, when looking at it more closely, is assigned to an Oxford White Crew Cab that is classified in the system as a stock order. That VIN probably isn't your truck.

After the Estimated Dealer Delivery date being N/A on the tracking website for ages, it finally changed today to 10/22/2019. 2 days earlier than previously stated. Yay!

If you have the window sticker printout, it should have the blend date on it which is the date it will be built. Figure 3 weeks after that date for delivery probably.

In the example above, the blend date is 20190316 which was March 16, 2019, the date my truck was built. You should see something similar on your window sticker. It is at the very top.

So I'd guess mid to late October for delivery then. It gets harder as the date gets closer....

I don't know if you're checking back to this thread at all, but I got curious if I could track your truck once it went on the ship for delivery to Hawaii. As suspected, I could not. That's the bad news.

However, I have good news if you don't already know. The good news is that it was delivered to your dealer yesterday.

You were correct, that wasn’t my truck. My truck is 1FTER4FH4KLB00605. It was delivered to dealership today. They said that they liked my build so much that they ordered the same thing for dealer stock on the same day. Can’t be mad at them for being 3 weeks earlier than I expected.

Yeah, I got an email a couple of days ago saying that it arrived and it needed to go through inspection and be cleared by dealer.

Pretty stoked, emailed the dealer and looks like I can pick it up mid next week. Can't wait.

Ha, the 14th of November is the day mine is scheduled to be built. I ordered it on the 3rd of September. November 14th is a Thursday. I hope it stays the 14th, I don't want a truck built on a Monday or Friday. lol

Mine was built on a Saturday and it has been trouble free thus far. I've been EXTREMELY happy with my truck. Only issue was a defective side marker lamp that was leaky - no big deal.

Yours will be one of the last 2019s built!

Yeah, it will be interesting having one of the last 2019's. I'm sure no matter what day a vehicle is built on, it is fine. I was really just carrying on a joke I heard a long time ago about lemon vehicles.

Yeah, I thought about the same thing when mine was built. With all the automation and automated QC, I think build quality is a lot more consistent than it has been in the past.
