58k miles. No lift, leveling, etc. AT tires put on in December but they're not oversized.

I noticed this about a week ago. I changed the brake shoes about 3 weeks ago so I figured I'd goofed up somewhere. Pulled everything apart this morning. Cleaned with brakleen and verified everything was in correctly. No signs of any rubbing or loose parts that could be causing it. Brake shields are tight and undamaged. Sound persisted after doing this. Can't really place where it's coming from other than the front of the vehicle.

It's braking smoothly, sound happens even when actively braking. At slower speeds you can hear a cadence as if it's something rubbing while rotating. Ball joints are tight. No knocking or rattling on bumps. No issues with steering pulling. Had an alignment done back in December when I put new tires on it.

Anybody else had this issue? I thought I'd goofed on the brake job somehow but everything looks right. Like I said before, there were no signs of anything rubbing or rattling when I took the tires/rotors off to verify I'd installed the shoes correctly.

Forgot to mention. It makes the noise regardless of whether or not lane departure assist is on.

By the harmonic sound the rotor is flexing against the dust shield, (very slightly)

Dust Shield:
Take a screwdriver and slightly bend it away from the rotor, most common rub point is the lower half

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Just curious, why would it only be rattling on turns? I'm guessing that it its because it lets the air hit it and that's why it's only at higher speeds?

It's mostly side load flex in the hub bearing allowing the rotor to rock sideways with it, the rotor rocks sideways and it touches the dust shield

Moved it as much as I could with a screwdriver. Sounds better and it's not continuous on the turn anymore. I'm going to take the wheels off tomorrow and get after it. Hopefully that's it. Thanks again for your help.
