The emphasis is on telling people how to actually steal Teslas and then backwalking it with an article that basically says "Flipper can be used but so can these five other things so it's not Flippers only". AKA deboooonked! If someone's Telsa gets stolen they should sue Jalopnik (hopefully out of business).

But we can make this the next EV trigger thread too. Show of hands?

I don't have much to contribute but it's brave of you to visit jalopnik - I'll admit it's interesting to know they still exist. I stopped reading them 5 or so years ago when they couldn't manage to string 5 paragraphs about a vehicle together without inserting some virtue-signaling. I think they forget that their free site has free alternatives... Oh well. Glad to see Tesla is still living rent-free in their heads as well. I'll keep what's on that site left to my curiosity.

Sometimes I like to visit places just to laugh at how bad they've gotten. I like to look at the property tax records for my house I sold years ago in NJ too. Hint: They've gone up. A lot.

Speaking of NJ. Phil Murphy is raising the tolls, the gas tax and guess what he's adding? AN EV FEE. To make sure you don't save on gas you pay hundreds in fees to offset it. This will spread to the rest of "those" states but EV drivers will never admit they've been conned.

That's because states realize how much revenue they are loosing from gas sales.
I wonder what's next? Will they pass a law that you can't charge your own car that a 'professional attendant' has to do it for you, the same way as in states you can't pump your own gas?
