Looking into options for a cheap steel wheel that's black and gravitating to the old standard D windows - does anyone have them on their truck with an aggressive tire in 16" or 17"? Can't find anything to reference on google and the Tire Rack visualizer doesn't quite cut it. Trying to avoid photoshopping to see if I'll like it before I buy. Looking for pics and feel/performance thoughts going from an 18" down to something with a bit more meat/sidewall. TIA

Are you talking about these type of wheels?

They're typically called "wagon" wheels if I recall correctly.

Have yet to see them on a ford ranger.

I wanted to purchase some from a local tire shop a few years ago. The salesperson said they don't make them in a 17" dia. and offset that works for the 265/70 K02's I was upgrading to.
Not sure how true that statement was.

There are now a few options available. Take a peek at the Vision D Window wheel. Great styling and stance for an aggressive off road look. Great incentive available as well!

Yep, this is the style I was referring to. Seems like there's a few in size/offset but no one is running them

Nope no rub
Awesome. Last dumb question because I can't seem to find the specs anywhere - no adapter or anything needed right? Same bolt spacing and offset (or close)?

Factory tires and wheels from Ranger are 255/65/17, I use them in the summer. I traded the Bronco in and the dealer didn't want the stock wheels so I tried them on the ranger and they went on with no issues at all. And they don't look all that bad.

Here is my truck with the 16” factory steelie setup. Tires are Cooper Rugged Treks in 265/70R16.

Rangers don’t come with steel wheels in Canada, so I had to order the wheels and hub caps…

Not a fan of alloy wheels or anything over a 17”… I off-road my truck… Steels are much better for that

They aren’t black, sorry… I need to paint them in the spring.. Probably not silver.
