Ordered a base XL ranger which came with the stock 16x7 steel wheels and 255/70/16 tires. A week later found a set of 17x8 alloys with tires off a 2019 XLT Ranger, nice look and better than the steel wheels but wasn't thrilled about the more aggressive All Terrain tires (the XLT was a 4x4). After more searching came across a set of 5 17x7.5 Big Bend alloys off a 2022 Bronco that are carbonized gray and supposedly the lightest wheel option available for a Bronco. The tires that were on them have under 2k miles and are 32" All Terrain so have 255/65/17 highway all season tires I ordered that will be installed Monday to lighten up the unsprung weight. Pics of all 3 setups below, I have the 16x7" steel wheels with like new (724 miles) listed in the classifieds along with the 2022 date code 32" Bridgestone Dueller A/T off the Bronco wheels (tires only) if anyone is looking.
The stock 16x7 steel wheels with brand new tires are 56.4 lbs each, the 17x7 XLT alloys with A/T tires are 57.4 lbs each, according to a post on the Bronco Forum the Big Bend 17x7.5s are 23.25 lbs so they should come in a hair over 55 lbs with the Goodyear Fortitude tires I ordered. Amazingly Amazon beat Discount Tire, Costco, and Tire Rack and had them delivered to a Pep Boys for installation.
