Just picked up a 5 set of 16" silver oem steelies. I need to find black center caps for them. Searching here and other places isnt finding them. Does anyone have an idea what the exact size is if i go aftermarket or is the ford oem caps it? If so, where can i get 4 of them? Thanks.

craigslist, if you don't want to go thru Ford. $125 for 4 more rims and caps... but not close to you.

Maybe check if there is a Bronco Facebook group or Bronco forum/marketplace you could browse. You could also message Benny at Levittown Ford for a price on 4 new ones.

Also, if you get a set of the Bronco ones, there are lots of options available for replacing the Bronco logo in the middle of the cap.

I dont really care if they are oem or after market. I measured and found 3 11/16th inside diameter of the hole. So i think i must be off by a 16th becasue of course there are 3 5/8 caps and 3 3/4. Havent checked for 3 11/16 but as its an odd size....but i will.

Just listed 4 on eBay, my ranger came with Ford emblem, not just the black embossed. On eBay $85. set of 4

i picked up 4 of the blacked out ones for 65$
ebay.....

once i get them and make sure they fit, then off the powder coater..... once i get wheels back from them, time to order some tires!!!

i've been eyeing the 265/75R16 which is 31.6 which is bigger than the LT option from factory which are on 17's, LT265/65/R17. I have the 18's that are 30.5 vs the LT OEM option that is 30.6. So not a big difference between those 2 besides more sidewall for the 17s.

I've also been wondering about sticking to 30.6 via the 265/70R16 but i would only gain 1/2" sidewall over the LT 17s and about 1 inch over my current 265/60R18's. All this money i be spending i should just go big (as big as i can with no mods).

decisions decisions.

if i am 100% sure the 265/75R16's would fit with no rubs, which i seem to be finding most people saying, i'd go that route and get way more sidewall plus gain 1/2" ground clearance and that will affect approach/departure/break-over angles........ I do see my tire of choice being 31.7 inch in diameter vs what everyone says will fit- 31.6, but does that .1 make a difference?

i would probably not go the LT route tho and just get normal ply falken wild peaks.... 6lbs heavier for LT's on that tire......

Stock 18 tires are 35lbs and the 16's I am looking at are 44lbs, that's already a heft increase. The steel wheels are 24 lbs and the oem 18 wheels are 31lbs based on my searching here so that means each new tire/wheel assembly for me will be (44 16" tire + 24 16" steelie = 68lbs) VS the current 18s of (35 18"tire + 31 18" wheel = 66lbs) so only 2 more pounds. Those pounds will be further from the hub tho if it makes much difference......

so thoughts?

265/75R16 in non LT's?
