Torque Value and Tips for removing Tow Hitch Receiver?

So I bought the Deezee Bumper Step to add a lower step to my bumper.

It requires removing the two bolts attaching my tow receiver to the frame.

Im gonna remove it with an impact wrench.

But what toraue value do I put it back on at? Should I put any blue/red loctite?

They're pretty good sized bolts, so I would tighten them to 'that's not going to fall off' torque and use a little blue loctite on them.

I had my bumper off a couple years back and never did torque them, they just got rattled on with the IR231. I check them every year and they haven't budged (paint stripe, just like with all my other hitch related/towing stuff)

At my advanced age, I have to wear a tag that says..."If found wandering, please return to...and then my address" !!!
And, no need to memorize it as I carry it in the Ranger.....I think.....Just have to remember where I put it....I know it's somewhere in the truck, I think...maybe.....

Install instructions for my hitch were 150. It was not fun to do since you have to push away from you or pull towards you. Much easier to push down or even up. Eventually I got it to click.

Yeah...got the whole bundle, manual, quick start guide, all the different paperwork, and a nice ballistic nylon case to keep it all in...

I just used maximum effort with a 4 ft pipe on a ratchet handle. That is what it took to remove the bolts initially. As seen here:

Hmmm. Never got notified of posts on this thread... I guess I was not completely clear - that was the installation manual for the hitch, not the owners manual. You never get any torque info from owner's manuals these days...
