Drive 20 miles a day from home to work and back, NEVER get through a week without being run out of the road at least once because of idiots like this :punch:  :curse: ... Another reason I seldom drive my truck to work

Because they are on their phone.
I used to ride my bike to work a lot but I've stopped. Literally *half* of the people I'd see at stop signs would be staring down at their phone, barely looking up when they accelerated from the stop.

I *never* use my phone while driving, and honestly it disgusts me when I see anyone do it. People forget they're driving thousands of pounds of steel and a moment of inattention could kill someone.

Glad another bike not slowing traffic.?
Sad the reason why.

A biker would be suicidal to ride on the same road as that distracted driver...

Why do people do this?

That particular instance (and most others involving our trucks) Is a phenomenon known as the "SAFFR" effect (pronounced Safer) , that driver was in a Honda Ridgeline and when he saw the front of your truck, the effect kicks in "Shit ! A Ford F'n Ranger !" and is immediately drawn towards it instead of away from it , its a compliment really...
