Sorry just saw this, yes remove the eight bolts and it separates from the pinion flange . I had to use a small screw driver to get it loose. I marked the location on the driveshaft both there and where in slips in the yoke just to make sure everything was put back the same way.
Greetings FordRacing!
Question for you…did you re-use those eight bolts or did you get new ones?
I was looking for these bolts online and could not find them. The only ones I could find were for non Tremor.
What did you torque them to?

Did you just remove the 8 bolts on the CV and it separates? Or is there a trick to disconnecting at the axle?

Hey Dr3wDrop!
Did you end up doing this to your Tremor? If so did you re-use the bolts or replace them.?I was told they were a single use torque to yield bolt. No dealers around here seem to have them and keep trying to sell me non-tremor shaft bolts.
They look like they go all the way through the pinion sticking out the back, very long and skinny bolts, seem kind of fragile.

I have not. I ended up putting a BDS rear shackle lift on the back and it so far has taken care of my issues. However, I was going to re-use the rear bolts and was going to use some red locktite with them reinstalled.

Here is torque specs.
Crisscross - Loosen
Crisscross - Tighten - 35 ft lbs

Ok, I’m happy to report that I was able to get this done and the improvement is just what I had hoped for. There is no hint of the notorious slip-bump either at stop or take-off. It feels so much tighter now without all that perceived play in the driveline. I know it’s probably a harmless sensation as others have stated but I much prefer not having it plague me continually.
it took me about an hour without any power tools just taking my time. The bolts specific to the Tremor were nowhere to be found. Even the parts department at my local Ford dealer here in Phoenix was at a loss trying find these bolts and only came up with a possibility that they may be the same as the new Bronco which looks similar. I re-used the bolts and torqued to 35 ft pounds per spec after applying blue thread lock. The spline had a whisper film of red grease on it. I put a generous amount of the recommended Ford lube on it. It all went together as it should. Noticed the difference immediately. Some have said in other posts that this masks the underlying problem. I am not in agreement with that assessment. No amount of grease on a spline with zero lateral movement will mask a transmission or torque converter problem, so I’m inclined to think that the lack of lubrication causes enough binding in the joint to create this slip-bump. I’m glad it’s now fixed! Easy job really for anyone here with some DIY motivation.

Has or does anyone else have a lot of play in the draftshaft at the midpoint (where it bolts to the truck). I've noticed the last couple weeks that Im getting a "bump" feeling when I leave from a stop... (felt like a bad motor mount) Today I got under my truck and at that mid point (Carrier bearing) and can wiggle almost 3/4" up and down... it not torn but there just seems like a lot of play Are your trucks like this as well? I can't imagine this is normal but I have added 2 1/2" in the front and 1" lift on the leaf springs and I wonder if that is enough to change the pinion angle enough to make this happen.

Going to be curious to see what people see on their trucks.

P.S. I have 13,000 mile on my 2021 Tremor.
I started to experience the clunk feeling at start/stop. I’ve got 41,000 on the clock. I took it into the dealer at 8am and was out by 9:45. They greased the spline/slip joint. It appears they reused the yoke bolts & boot and just used a tie-wrap instead of a new clamp. I’m OK with that…it was on their dime. Smooth as silk now!
