Nice !Went offroading last night. New 35s decided to claim another fender flare. So today I decide to do a “flare chop” and cut the whole flare section out of the fenders. I like the way it turned out and no more rubbing. Could maybe fit some 37s next time I buy tires!! Went back out offroading to the same trail as before and only thing I rubbed was full locked on the forward crash bar brackets. So those will be cut completely off next. I also had a big whoopsy on the trail and almost ran into a big rock wall head on…. Going too fast in a wash and the turn came up quicker than I wanted. Smashed the brakes and abs kicked in and I didn’t think I would stop. Had to whip it up another trail but still manage to catch a rock hard with the passenger front and thought I busted my wheel or blew a tire. The tire “burped” from 13 psi to 7 tho. But checked it over and nothing bent or cut or anything.

Hell yea. Ive been saying that for years about the bronco control arms. I got a upper set myself. Was going to do the same thing as you as it would be a true mid travel set up, but i decided im going to save the money from the lower control arms and just build a set of control arms uppers and lowers at 4.5 wider per side. This should in theory be bronco long travel width. I am happy to see another pirate on here. Too many disregard us or say you should have bought something else , or waste of time and money. As for my set up. Im running 2019 f150 rear shocks with 1" extended shackles, and icon leaf springs at lowest setting. From ground to arch im at 42". As for front i now have icon 4 door bronco coilovers on mounts i made, and icon upper control arms. Yea i know what you mean i want 4.70s. I want to get myself a m210 and see how i can fit it. If i could physically see one id know if i could make it work or not. Dana has one that is guaranteed to work on both ranger and bronco but at the cost of 3k. Passenger side done.im also running 34sI haven't checked out this thread in awhile; it is heartening to see some proper villains at work.
As for me, I threw on some Bronco front control arms, cut fenders and went spring under on the rear:
Lower arm bolts on, upper needs a tapered reamer through the upright/spindle and the frame side is wider than the Ranger. Bronco upper arm ball joint is sweet; lots of hangulation. I think I had to find a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer inner tie rod that was the right length, too. Also pulled all the internal spacers out of the Ranger spec Bilstein 6112's to get shock travel decent for the Bronco control arms. CV axles are Frankensteined from Ranger and Bronco M190 parts. Jonesing for an M210 diff one of these days...
Only on 34's at the moment, but this helps quite a bit when flexing about.
Mostly for grins, but an XJ lift leaf pack and some laser cut shackles do allow more bump travel for a given ride height with the short body Bilstein 7100's.
Now I need to do like @Venom_z89 and get some Bronco mounts up front for some more damper options. Good work on that one.
