Replaced a 2015 Subaru WRX that was laced with so many issues... and from a state with no lemons law. Finally realized I couldn't find a car that would act like a truck enough for my liking.

In the photos you can see that I favor the Ford brand.

Over the years I have owned/grew up with (1986 F250, 1989 F150- My Fathers), 1992 F150, 1996 F150, 1989 f250, 1993 f250...

Currently Own a 2003 Excursion, 2015 f150 and a 1986 Bronco. Oh and a 1966 Mustang and a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang (Basket Case Project).

That is a nice stable you have there. Would love to have a basket case Mach 1 project to work on!

Replaced a 2016 Subaru Forester XT Touring. My then wife at the time, didn't want us to have a truck, so I settled for a crossover. Fell in love with the turbo charged engine in it, and it rode/handled pretty nice. After the divorce, I told myself "you're getting a damn truck now!" After test driving the Tacoma and Colorado, I felt like I would miss the "get-up-and-go" that the Subaru had. All that changed after I test drove the Ranger. Couldn't be happier with it.

Traded my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk V6 - Rhino. Waiting on my new tags so I'm actually still wearing the 'TRL H4WK' tags I had on the Jeep. Got fully loaded Hot Pepper Red Lariat FX4, Sport with 501a, running boards, spray in liner and the 18" wheels.
Me too, traded my loaded Cherokee Trail Hawk 3.2L for the loaded Ranger. The Jeep was no slouch but the Ranger's effortless grunt is something on a whole different level.

I love it so far. And it's getting the same, if not better gas mileage. My Ranger is at 320 miles and just put in the first tank of gas, averaged 24 mpg in the dash and 21 mpg by hand. Flooring it occasionally for fun, of course. This is nuts when you think about it. Very impressive for a truck this big, high off the ground, and with stock 31s.

I traded in my 2015 Escape. I loved it but got tired of needing to use my enclosed motorcycle trailer as my "truck". Stuffing it with tree limbs and trying to pull them back out sucked. I was impressed with how well the 2.0 engine pulled the trailer when it was loaded. I haven't pulled it with my Ranger yet but I'm expecting an even better experience

Traded in my ‘09 Ranger XL. 53k miles as I was the only driver since my husband won’t drive a 5-speed manual. Got a good trade in and the deals Ford had going on the New Ranger.

When I got that Ranger, I said that I’m keeping it till it I bury it into the ground. Guess I couldn’t keep my words. LOL.

Wife wanted out of her 2017 Honda Odyssey lease. She has been driving minivans for 16 years and it was time for a change. She test drove Pilot, Passport, Explorer and did not care for any of them. I mentioned that we've always had a pickup truck until the past two years and she agreed to look at F-150 and Ranger. Drove both, she preferred Ranger (I wanted F-150 to be honest). She will be happy next weekend.

Back in 2016 I traded the 2005 Grand Cherokee on the right for the 2015 Overland on the left. I then installed a chip to spoof the air ride sensor so I could lift the new Jeep (about 2.2 in) allowing me to fit some 275/65R18 BFG's. I swore that I would keep that 2015 forever, but....

Raising the air suspension made it ride much more rough than I liked. Problem was, with the larger tires I couldn't re-lower the jeep but I could live with the ride. It was a nit though that stuck around. Just not perfect anymore...

Ford FINALLY brought the Ranger back to the USA and I've been lurking on this and other forums since. I thought I would wait until the 2020MY but when that order guide came out and I saw there were no big upgrades to the Lariat I really started lusting.

Yesterday, I stopped in to my local dealership to test drive a Ranger that was outfitted exactly as I wanted. I was easy prey! The 1.9% and incentives were the final nail in my Jeep's coffin. I am now a proud owner of a 2019 Shadow Black Lariat (501A) FX4 with the tow package and sport package. Loving this truck!

That is awesome! Yeah, there isn't much reason to wait for 2020, and it appears the incentives are getting better on the 2019's.

Congratulations on the new truck! Mine is similar (except platinum white) and I love it every time I drive it.

I traded in my 2018 Escape titanium for a new Ranger Lariat about a week ago. I have been thrilled - better giddy up, better MPG and better function for me. Wins all around!
