After all the transmission threads of late mine went wonky the other day. Was towing my boat, 14 ft lund ssv, tiller, with 15hp merc so nothing extreme heavy. Pulled out into traffic and the trans just hung in 2nd gear. Tach hit the Rev limiter. Let off gas rpm dropped to about 4000 then slammed into 3rd gear.

Needless too say thanks to the info found here I checked Flood Ford and got myself extended to 100k for $1200. That's a third of what my local dealer wanted. I'll keep truck too 90k then trade on the next one. For the cost it's cheap insurance.

So condensed version transmission is a nut job and Flood Ford has great deals on ESP lol

?? you need to do more fishing and road trips then lol. Mines a 21 as well.
My '21 is at 31,000. I do a lot of fun trips also :)

I bought the ESP w/ Flood Ford shortly after acquiring the Ranger. It was a good deal then $845 (I used $210 Ford points to get it down to $635). 6 year, 75k, $100 deductible for mine. At 6 years I figure I'll trade for the new Ranger or F-150 if my needs require more truck.

That's an awesome deal! Flood was a third of what my dealer quoted me. Their loss. I will stick with midsized either another ranger or a Colorado. I'll figure that out in 60,000 miles lol

I just compared Granger to Flood and Flood is a few hundred cheaper than Granger for the 150k/9yrs/200 deductible, Premium Care. That's about what I put on my last car, '12 Focus before going to the Ranger.
