No damage to my 2002 Bird other than scratch that buffed out easy,Ranger pretty penny to fix, cannot be riding around with that reminder??

I was washing my truck. And I opened the hood with the windshield wipers still up. Added a nice couple paint chips right on the edge of the hood. I am too embarassed to take a pic, but I will when I get home from work today. Need to break the dr color chip back out...

Just a reminder to not be as dumb as me. The 303 nano graphene detailer is absolutely amazing stuff. Paint looks incredible.

Don't sweat it. I'm pretty sure I have you beat.

I haven't done that but, I have ripped a box truck open like a tuna can when I worked for a rent to own furniture company.

Leaving the neighborhood, I drove slowly and heard the tree on the roof. Forgetting, on the turnaround because it was a dead end, BLAM!!!! Top punctured and ripped....

Did it again, new truck, going around a curve, a tree was sticking out over the road which, should not have been. Sliced and peeled the right side of the truck and, about ripped the back off of the truck.

Needless to say, it's been about 12 yrs and, I don't work for that hell hole anymore

Do 22s have the hood supports or prop rod? ?
I've done that on the Edge but felt the resistance before I put the prop rod in place and didn't have any damage.
Back in the 90s I worked in a body shop with a buddy. He was masking a Pontiac Tempest which was being painted with the hood open, so masked it with the prop rod in place. Shortly after he wanted the hood closed, and thought it was cylinders, so he pulled down and folded one side of the hood completely, lol.

I drive a 11' tall RV, so am always looking out for tree limbs, haven't lost any parts yet but a few scrapes for sure.
