Added a fordrangerlifts.com 2" leveling kit. I'm thinking I should have gone with the 1" because it looks a little high in the front. Hopefully it's because of where I parked for the pics. Gotta get an alignment now. Hopefully that helps as well tried to load the suspension when I tightened everything down but maybe there's some preload.

called to work on my day off, after work find new door dent on the 5g ?. annoying but i got over it. while inspecting the dent noticed my drivers side ditch light needed to be adjusted and tightened down ?no big deal. I get a wrench to tighten up the light. standard combo wrench 13 mm. get a phone call. expecting the boss i scramble to answer. spam call ?. during the sloppy handling to get the phone i drop the wrench. wrench hit the windshield in the lower right corner behind the ditch light mount. i didnt think much of it? windscreens are tough and the wrench is small and only dropped maybe five inches. start tightening the light mount and notice an odd line in my glass?. then another strange line...? the wrench impact shattered a nickel sized spot of the windshield into one of those white powdery looking glass breaks that sent 3 cracks out across the glass ?. ford windshield not ford tough. googled the cost of the replacement?. this was no monkey wrench or sledgehammer. it was a basic combo standard size 13mm armstrong, weighs less than a pound. now im grumpy.

Dang that is bad luck. All I got is another big star in the middle of the windshield on the way to McCall and I'm pissed.

Installed weathertech window deflectors. Have to leave the windows up for 48 hours and that's no fun at all.

Follow the directions.
You'll likely be glad you did.
I did, and they've worked perfectly.

I've got a small issue with the passenger front window hitting the visor, hopefully the 48 hour settling in period will correct that.

mine still clips the passenger side a tad at the back, but nothing i cant live with. not sure how much difference it makes cracking the window when parked outside on hot days, (its gonna be 90 here everyday for awhile), but it cant hurt

Had the replacement Ranger windshield tinted with 70% Xpel Prime XR Plus. The difference in feel and light intensity inside the truck was immediate.
Jeanie's not very happy with me at present, as it was expensive...but I'm the one that drives the truck and it was important to me to get it done.

Let the beatings begin...
A shout out to @Chris M for getting me off the fence on this. I got the Silver Cloud windshield done in the same 70% Xpel Prime XR Plus and noticed an immediate difference as well...

Now I just hold my breath I don't get a chip!

Forgive my ignorance...why? What does it change/fix/do?
The word "performance" is in it's title....has to add at least bazillion HP.....
