Just got to our first hotel here in Salina, UT. Hit a few pockets of rain but nothing bad, just enough to get my truck dirty. There's really not a lot great sights along this route (89A) which takes you most of the way up here from Flagstaff. We did stop at the Glenn Canyon Dam in Page, AZ. Lake Powell feeds it and continues on into Horseshoe Bend which we've already seen before.

Just past the bridge about a mile or so is Horseshoe Bend.

I've done work at that dam years ago.

Dave have a fantastic trip which will be no problem. Be safe and looking forward to your pictures. Next Friday is when I go on my 10 day trip to Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Peninsula. Wah Whoooo.

Just got to the AirBnb cottage we rented here in Victor, ID. I'm so glad I canceled the hotel in Jackson, WY and got this place. It's a great set up with zero neighbors close by and only about 3/4 mile to the center of town. Plus it was less money! ?

What a great day at Grand Teton NP. The weather turned out beautiful today with sunny skies up until 2:00pm and even then only a couple spurts of rain. We got there a little before 8:00 am and between hiking 2 different trails and driving around we barely scratched the surface as there's so much to see and do there. We just got in and I have a tone of pics to go through but this one was one of my favorites. It was right across from the Jackson Dam and the reflection off the water plus the clouds was pretty cool at this time of day.

We were hiking down by the Colter Bay marina and I came across this hut. o_O All I could think of was Scott's @Scottopia avatar and that creature coming out of it and chasing us with a machete!

Geez Scott last year you followed me up to Durango and now this. I know how much you hate my damper but now I'm gonna have nightmares tonight!???

I think I beat Richard @Synfulz for being tired form to many steps. We did 2 different hikes and since it's our first time out this year we did a few easier ones but ended up doing 6 miles and I had 17,739 steps. Annie with her little feet did 21,107 steps. lol

After being scared off by that hut and the thought of Scott's avatar creature killing us we found this nice spot to sit and have lunch on an old log. Not a bad view out in the middle of nowhere!

Dave, I'm really enjoying your (our) trip so far with all the pictures. Now just don't trip Annie like you did last year, Ha Ha. Enjoy and keep posting all the beautiful sights.

There is no hate to those who run with tailgate assisting dampers, I fully support freedom of choice and bad decisions.
