It’s been 6 weeks to the day since my accident and we’re heading out soon for a 10:00 am flight to WA to pick up Money Pit 2. Man I miss driving my Ranger and I just hope this one runs as well as the first one did. Good thing I can now start fresh with a new warranty and I’ll have 96K before I have to worry about the transmission going.....?

After the inspection we should be in & out fairly quickly since there’s no loan and I don’t need them to go over anything on the truck. I’d bet I know more than they do. Lol I’m hoping to leave there around 2:00 pm and head straight back and I made our first nights stop in La Grange, OR which is roughly 260 miles away. I figure that’ll be a good drive to break it in some and make a few stops along the way. Then the next two days will be about 500 miles each and we should be home late in the day Thursday if all goes well. ? Pics to come of Money Pit 2.

For once the early morning commute to the airport was smooth sailing. There's always an accident (or three) along this route as there's so much traffic now. Now the. boing 2 hour wait to board the plane.

Honestly? I don't know - its an "Oregon thing". I actually don't mind - it is nice to sit in your car and have someone pump it for you. When I drive my Capri, I always ask if I can do it, since that takes gas slowly (it will overflow if you go too fast) and no one ever says no.

I think it is one of only two states to not allow self service.
