Glad that it all worked out for you, and that this mess is almost behind you. Enjoy the new Tremor!
My wife just recently got me the all new Electric Tremor!

Your understanding is correct, cars are paid at depreciated value usually. Not every company offers the endorsement that Dave bought. Many times you can only purchase it when the truck is brand new.

For collector cars there are agreed value and stated value options through companies like Hagerty. Those can be tricky if the car is actually appreciating then the endorsement can hurt you.

Dave’s result is unique and won’t be everyone’s reality especially in certain states with certain companies. So happy for him. He did spend the extra 70 per year for 4 years so 280 which was a good bet !! Remember it comes into play on a total loss which isn’t that common.
After i read AzScorpion earlier post I then checked with my insurer State Farm and they don't offer that program, oh well.

Glad you are ok. Physically anyway. Not all wounds are visible. All rangers go to heaven. Except bro'd out ones. Lol. Sorry to see the ranger go, it was part of your personality here. Well, glad you are okay

Thanks Fred! Here's hoping the new Tremor is as trouble free as my last one. The month of April sure was a rollercoaster ride but in the end things (thankfully) worked out.

Finally there's a light at the end of the tunnel! :whew:

I received a call from the final loss adjuster this morning and here's the total number they're paying me. $51,081. I can't stress enough how important it is to have Full Replacement Value on your policy! When I spoke to a different adjust on Friday he didn't realize I had this coverage and the payout would've been only $ 37,574.00. o_O So I received just over $13,000 more for this $67.00/yr add on. I only owe $4,200 on my 2019 (had 0%) then they deducted my deductible ($500) so even after all that I'll still net $46,380. The new Tremor is $49,210 + 200 doc fee - 1,250 rebate Ford had sent me bring the new price to 48,160 making my out of pocket only $1,780. Needless to say I won't be taking a loan out for this one which is nice seeing at rates are so high now. One thing I forgot was they do add back to me for taxes and fees so the bottom line number they paid for just the Ranger was $47,505.00.

I just went to the credit union and had the Power of Attorney letter notarized and overnighted back to Travelers releasing the truck to them. She said everything should be done by the end of next week. I'm making plans to fly out to WA on 4/16 to pick up Money Pit 2. We'll probably stay overnight there and get an early start in the morning. Plus it'll give me a chance to put a few city miles on it before hitting the highway Wednesday. Again, thank you all for the support and wishes and soon enough I'll be spending money (again) on mods but the good thing is the tires and suspension are already done this time. ?
Are you going on the 16th of May? Spokane? I'd definitely buy you a beer but it's in the middle of the week and I'm about 4.5 hours away.:frown:
That's beautiful country. Take lots of pics!

So... what's the record number of likes on a post around here? I got about 46 for a good joke in the jokes thread. So much for that. ?

Anyway... niiiiice. ?

Thanks for the offer Steve! We'll be flying in on the 16th and either leaving that afternoon or early the next morning. I wish I could take my time and enjoy the area and the drive home but I'm pressed for time. We're leaving 2 weeks later for a month long trip and I need to get back here and get things ready. Maybe another time as we really want to see that area and the surrounding areas there. Also the offer extends to you too. If you're ever going to be in this neck of the woods please reach out. ??

Dave, @AzScorpion I'm glad your new Tremor is in at the dealer. It looks good by the way. Now you have a new truck and a new month to get you out of the funk you were in. Enjoy the drive home and, drive it like you stole it, Ha Ha.
