I've just been having the worse luck. Had a minor heart attack before Easter Weekend. Spent 2 days in the hospital. Decided I'll finally get my truck professionally detailed and ceramic coated. Then a week later this happened.

He hit me then proceeded to push my truck that it moved the parking curb. I got a little lucky because my tire just missed that metal bar. And yes it's that truck parked in front of me. He had no choice but to file a report with security because there were so many witnesses. This happened at 5:30 am. I guess he was running behind. I got off work at 6:30 am. It's time to get a ARB Summit bumper now. I guess you can say I was pushed off the fence I was on about getting one. ?

Mike, Sorry to hear about your accident and your heart attack. Man it seems we're having a string of them here lately but hopefully this will be it. One thing I've learned from mine is there's a long process and you need to have patience. This coming from someone who has very little to begin with. lol

Get well soon and good luck in getting it fixed!

Mike, hope you are recovering well. Last thing you need is stress so keep in mind the truck can be fixed and your health is what matters. Heart issues are always on the mind after an issue.

What the heck was his excuse? He just backed straight up into you?

The only thing I can think of is at 5:30am there were more cars and it was dark. I guess he was trying to straighten his truck out. But how did he not feel his truck pushing around 4,500 lbs?

I'm still wearing my heart monitor. Would like to hear what my cardiologist saw during this. ?

Ouch brother! At least an ARB summit will look good up there. I hope the frame horns aren't too buggered up!
True. I haven't even bother to take the skid plate off to have a look. I'm actually afraid to. Plus, it's cold and windy and I need a beer.

Man, I’m sorry. What confuses me is it sounds like he kept driving or pushing after he made contact? But most of the damage looks cosmetic and superficial. Also sounds like you are planning on a nice upgrade. Hang in there.

It looks like his tow setup did most of the damage. Hopefully that helped the situation. I would be so furious if I was you.
Feel better, and get your beer tonight! (If you're allowed, that is!)

I can only imagine that he slowly backed into to it. Felt a little resistant and decided to go full send? Maybe ?

Doesn't his truck have a back up alert?
It's a 2001 F150.

There's a lot of old trucks at work. We had posts up with chains around the rocky drainage ditches in the parking lot. They got rid of them because people would just knock them over backing up. Now we got those parking curbs. Which still somehow got knocked back from someone backing up into..... unfortunately I was in their way. ?
