Ford Performance grill for my Tremor, what say you?

I prefer the Tremor grill to the fp grill.

But I am confused why Ford choose 5 different colors within a hand span on the front end, and why they chose red, when all other tremors are orange.

Hmm maybe there is a "splash" I can grab inserts and seats from
ohh but the dash stiching would be a bitch, nevermind

seems like the ROW rangers get all the good stuff

I fully intended to get the Ford Performance Grill before I got my truck, then saw one in person and decided I like the Tremor better except for the Blue Oval stuck out like a sore thumb. I obviously have the same color as you, so I bought some Magnetic Gray/Black ovals and got rid of the blue/chrome. Also added some black letters to the RANGER on the grill. I do love how my yellow license plate looks on the rear, so trying to either buy the Splash nostrils or wrap these. Likely the latter.

I just realized the stitching on the seats is grey.

WTF.

Not to bitch, but these are tiny design ques bits that's would make it pop that much more.

Yes, I realize I'm derailing this grill thread... And that if it took me this long (4 months) to notice is it really that big of a deal...

It's your truck, those look better in the pictures than in person in my opinion,

I in the first hour I had it home, I pulled the steps, peeled the crooked Tremor stickers, then changed the orange nostrils to black the next day and by the next week I even pulled the switch pod and put in the sunglass tray (way more useful)

Any and everybody, should be able to do whatever crazy stuff to their truck they want, it's funny to see the different reactions, some love it, some hate it, it's great.

I pulled out the red inserts to crate a sort of black out grille. Also removed the cheap stickers that were put on crooked from the factory.

When you say you pulled out the red inserts, was this with the grill on? Did you have to slightly take the grill apart or completely off.

It doesn’t have to come all the way out. You have to remove the top shroud and can remove them. They are cheap plastic inserts and just snap in with tabs.
They are total junk and can break easy.
I partially broke one tab of one of them.

I bought my truck right off the lot mainly to get the better suspension above the FX4. It’s a great truck but just hated the red in the grille. The stickers were junk too and were poorly adhered so they went as well.

Personally, I like theTremor grille better, but I painted the center bars to match the vehicle color and no red nostrils.

It's your truck- of course do with it what you will. That is what is leading in the poll. When opinions are asked for they will be given. If you want it get it and enjoy the heck out of it. No dork should give you crap for it. I think your truck looks great as it is(just needs black ovals).

thanks for the reply and words of wisdom!.....side note, my previous truck was a 2012 Taco and before that was a 2019 Taco and this truck beats those trucks hands down in all categories!!....I bring this up because I was on a Taco forum and those guys mostly suck!....total Taco fan boys and bash everything and everybody unless it's "fanboy" approved......not very helpful like this forum!.....

I already planned on getting the Ford Performance Grill before I started this thread and poll but just wanted to see what others thought....and I was bored.....so why not?!.....I bought it from @Stage3Motorsports and it should arrive in a few days so I'm excited!.....I'll keep the Tremor grill just in case I want to sell and the new owner wants it.......and NO raptor lights for me, just not my style.....

I only see the Ford performance grill/raptor grill.on this forum. Only saw one in person in 2020 at a 4WP convention so not even on the road. Glad I got mine it looks beastly.

Hi Jack,

Go for it if you like the grill.... As a young engineer , I was worried about "fitting in". Had to wear the correct width tie at Ford with my white shirt standard dress for example...Then as I gained experience and confidence in myself, I said F**k it... I wore what I liked and never looked back. Folks here on these forums berate the Chrome Package on my Ranger....Okay...I do not give a damn...I like it as does my wife Margie and my tortoise Tito... They count in my life, not the outsiders.

Do what you like....No regrets. I actually like both grills and would think your truck looks super with either. Go for the Gold as they say in the trite saying!

My regret is that I didn't do the chrome package for mine. I love red and chrome (and was a volunteer firefighter for a few years). =)

If Tito likes chrome that's plenty good enough for me! And I picture Tito cruising in this:

Hey Forum members!

I love my 2021 Lariat Tremor but I'm thinking I want the front grill to look more "tough" and also seems like maybe too much red now. I have the red tremor nostrils and the red tow hooks....so maybe too much going on with the grill?!

Anyway, I'm think about swapping out the Tremor grill for the "Ford Performance Grill" 19-23 Ranger Ford Performance Grille (stage3motorsports.com) .........what do you think??

Hey, Bill, I have mixed feelings about this project. I voted, "Hell yeah, it is your truck," but if it were me, I would just black out the red stuff, which does not fit. I do not like the idea of carrying around a big "FORD" branding tool on the front of my truck. So, for me, no, but hell, it is your truck (and your dime), so do what you like!
